§ 28-6. Weight limits for implements of husbandry.

Pursuant to authority granted under Wis. Stats. § 348.15(9)(f), the axle weight limitations of Wis. Stats. § 348.15(3)(g) for Category B implements of husbandry, as defined in Wis. Stats. § 348.15(9)(f), shall apply on all highways within the town's jurisdiction. Vehicles that exceed the statutory limitations adopted under this section shall not use highways under the town's jurisdiction except by no-fee permit issued pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 348.27(19)(b)(4m)(a). Upon application for a permit, the town shall provide an approved alternate route. The approved alternate route may include highways in other jurisdictions provided that prior approval is given by the other jurisdictions affected as required by state law.
